PRESENTATION OF THE ARTIST

The Cameroonian painter and digital artist presents humanity through states of consciousness, contemplating well-being from within.

For him, we all aspire to better living conditions when things don’t go our way. Art often reveals this hidden fragility, bringing to light figures and bodies embodying feelings ranging from despair to enlightenment.
The work of Mohamed Mounir Ngoupayou, who also explores artificial intelligence in his creative process, is rooted in great plasticity and colour diversity.

His pieces of Art expresses a personal ideal, an elevation that calls out to human beings in general, the ability to become an improved version of oneself by transcending a present difficulty and thus allowing the divine, honest and loving being that lies dormant in each of us to manifest itself.

Transition

I designed a portrait of a young man seen in profile who looks surprised by what he has achieved around him, through what he has conceived in his mind.

The work expresses the intermediary between two representations: the one we project and the one that actually exists in reality.

Here I am presenting a futuristic vision of our environment, while preserving our identity values in the architectural design.

We have a prior mental conception of what we want in reality, and each citizen has an individual responsibility for the state of our cities in Africa: we are the necessary transition.

Contemplation

I represent here a young man wearing a mask who has the appearance of a city in his head: a futuristic vision.

My piece highlights the preservation of our environment through reforestation and the emergence of cities that take our cultural identity to heart.
